The Seattle Times published an article this week that has been getting a lot of buzz.

The number of available listings is UP 66% (from a year prior). Seattle home prices drop by $70k in 3 months as the market is cooling (just in the city of Seattle).

Encouraging news for buyers, but for sellers, it is SO important to do your due diligence when you hire a Realtor or Agent to sell your home.

More than ever, experience and market knowledge matter! You need a strategic marketing plan as you place your home on the market with an influx of inventory. When your home hits the market, it needs to truly have that “WOW” effect. Staging (like the home we listed & sold, pictured above) incredible photos, home video, just a few of the things we prep our listings by to make your home POP online as home-shoppers are viewing your home on Zillow an Redfin. Dive deep when interviewing agents – ask for examples of how they market a home, ask to see past sales, ask their marketing direction to get your home sold.

Here at Dwell Home Team, we would love to work with you, or help you better understand the current market. If you have any real estate questions, we are always just a call/text/email away!
