Nick, Christina, and Leslee, are the dream team. They are diligent, patient, helpful, kind, and exceptional communicators. The challenge of buying a house from 3,000 miles away seemed like it would be a significant challenge, but not for the Dwell Home Team. Their help didn’t stop once we got the financial things taken care of either; as we prepare for renovations, they’ve provided us with contacts and resources for paint and flooring which beat all the estimates we had gotten on our own. My husband and I found our dream home, met up with Nick and his team, decided to use them as our agents and less than 45 days later we’re moving in.

My husband has purchased a home in the past but I am a first time home buyer. I’ve avoided purchasing property partly out of what a nightmare I imagined all of the paperwork and research on property would be. Working with the Dwell team I quickly found out it doesn’t actually have to be painful at all. Nick and his team not only thoroughly researched every question that we asked but they also listened to our goals of what we wanted from the property goals for our family and ensured they were forecasting any potential roadblocks and staying ahead of future planning for us.

Just a few examples of the many examples on how this team went above and beyond anything I would expect from an agent:

We don’t have children right now but plan to start a family while in the house. We also wanted the ability for one of our parents to move in on the property in the next few years with the option of adding an ADU. Having property capable of a small homestead (chickens, bee’s etc.) was also very important to me.

Knowing our goals Nick and his team dug deep into research on the property.

For intent to increase the size of our family: Nick and his team researched years of records and previous inspections into the septic system and worked hand in hand with septic engineers not only  making sure it supported our current lifestyle but that it would be capable of supporting our intended future lifestyle as well). Nick was factual and forthcoming and if he saw something that he believed would lead to issues for us he was direct, addressed the issue, and then quickly found a solution or already had a solution ready when brining us the issue.

For my homesteading goals and the possibly of adding an ADU in the future: Nick checked carefully not only that there was no HOA preventing the ownership of chickens or additions of ADU but he also ensured there were no undisclosed conveniences that would restrict our land use as well.

The open communication, honesty, diligence, and competence of the Dwell team made purchasing our home an exciting adventure instead of a painful burden.

As two active duty military members my husband and I were often hard to get ahold of and caught up in our daily obligations. The Dwell team was very patient with us and always flexible with our hours of availability.

Every supporting professional or tradesman they recommended, from the house inspector to the loan agents, were hard working experts in their fields that I would recommend to my closest friends and family.

Working with this team brought only feelings of support and never any feelings of pressure. It made me feel their goal was never to sell us a home but to meet our goals, and by meeting our goals they gained our trust and worked diligently to ensure the home we wanted was also the home that fit our needs. Nick took special care to provide his expertise with intricacies of the local area during the inspection process and subsequent negotiations on the home price. My husband and I sold our Lynnwood home with Nick and Christina in December 2024, and we’re extremely grateful to them for helping us navigate a very difficult time in our lives. In March of that year, a tree had fallen on the house, making it unlivable. Compounding our stress and busyness was the fact that I was pregnant at the time, and our baby arrived later in July.

We ultimately decided to sell and chose Dwell Home Team to represent us based on their past experience. Throughout the 8-month repair process, they handled all design choices to attract the most buyers and maximize ROI, which was a huge burden off our shoulders - we enjoyed great peace of mind knowing we had knowledgeable realtors to guide us, and they were always responsive to our questions. They also covered staging, professional photos/videos, and extensive marketing. Just two days after listing the house in November, we received multiple above-asking offers, accepted one, and closed on time. We couldn’t have hoped for a better outcome, especially given the time of year we had to sell.
